Random act of bravery this week? Maybe just facing it. Putting one foot in front of the other. I finally hunkered down and made a master list of all that needs to be done before the move, and of when it needs doing. Bought my tickets to reunion. Applied for more jobs. Did the laundry. Cried a bit, which is seeming more and more like an act of courage in itself.
There's a good weekend ahead, and only a handful left in this city, so let's do it up.
Good things: Bangable Dudes in History (hello, naughty Lewis Powell), this bloggers & cats series, last night's cheese pupusa, a new bra (in a size that made me weep and curse my buxom ancestors), a chateau, the new Bon Iver (and the accompanying concert ticket + fantastic mid-week dream of antiquing with Justin Vernon), finishing this delicious book with a few good tears.
